How to watch World Title Match Draughts

On January 5 the world title match draughts is set to start. Challenger Roel Boomstra and current world champion Alexander Shvartsman will compete in a direct duel for the title. We are able to provide a daily live stream of every day’s match thanks to media partner Twitch and our host Ester Muijen. See the link for more information on the upcoming fixtures. 

Starting at 11:00am there will be live commentary of every match via Twitch. This way you don’t have to miss a single move! On top of that, Ester will be accompanied by various elite draught players and other surprising guests. Professional Dutch draught players Jan Groenendijk, Martijn van IJzendoorn, Jitse Slump en Machiel Weistra are among the invitees. Also, two famous Polish stars from the world of draughts will be joining us. Two-time world draughts champion Natalia Sadowska and fanatic draughts promotor Damian Reszka, will both feature as co-hosts during the livestream for a couple of days. 

Roel will start his world title match draughts with white.
